Weekend with Mimi and Poppy

<
Chad went duck hunting last weekend, so Hattie and I headed over to my parents for the weekend. We had a nice relaxing night on Friday evening. Saturday we went into San Antonio for the afternoon. We ate a popular burger place called Bigz. It had great food and a very fun, laid-back atmosphrere for Hattie to enjoy.

Quick Update Through Pictures!

Things have been really busy around here. I decided to catch you up through a few recent pictures of all we've been doing!

We started off last weekend by going to Tivy's first home football game on Friday. We were shocked that Hattie did so well. She made it all the way to halftime. Quite a victory considering the game started at her normal bedtime!

Saturday we headed over to Chad and Rachel's to watch a very intense Aggie game! Hattie and Carlton provided us with some halftime horse races!
Hattie anxiously waiting until time to go to school! Yesterday was her first day. I had to take a glucose tolerance test-for 3 hours in San Antonio-so I didn't get to drop her off. She stayed with her Uncle Chase and Aunt Steph on Monday night. Steph dropped her off at her school. She took a few pictures in the classroom, but Hattie was really ready to go play! Hattie with her teacher. She's just fighting to get down and join in on the fun! Hattie had such a great day! I picked her up at 1 and she slept until 4! of course she was too nosy to sleep at school!

Hattie playing in her classroom!

Accessorizing! She refuses to keep a bow in her hair for 5 minutes, yet wants to wear her orange necklace everywhere! She is so fascinated by it! It was a party favor from her cousin Macy last year! Thank you, Macy!

Labor Day Weekend

Things have been really busy around our house. We started our weekend by spending the night out at my parents. Hattie put on some serious entertainment for the great-grandparents. On Sunday, we spent most of the day working on Anderson's room! It is really coming together. Then on Monday, we went out to our friends-Chris and Meave's family ranch. Hattie had a blast playing in the water with all the kids. You can tell by the pictures that she's really out numbered by the boys. It doesn't seem to bother her at all. She was holding her own in the middle of noodle fights and craw-dad catching!
