Christmas 2008

We enjoyed spending time with both families on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day we had lunch at my parents' house and then the kids and I stayed out there a few days while Chad went hunting in South Texas. Hattie and Anderson were both a lot of fun to watch! We are looking forward to New year's Eve with friends (sans kids) and round 4 of Christmas with my 2 older brothers this week! Hope you all had a great holiday.

Weekend

We started our weekend off by heading to Austin to watch Tivy play in the state semi-finals game. We ended up losing when the other team scored a field goal with 4 seconds left! It was a heartbreaker. On our way home, we stopped in Johnson City to see their "Light Spectacular." Chad was so bummed out about the football game, that I'm pretty sure he would have been ok with me taking pictures from the car as we drove by! He was a really good sport and we all had a great time! It was pretty amazing! Our church had their Christmas Open House on Sunday. Hattie's class sang Jingle Bells. I haven't seen Hattie be that still and quiet in a long time. We also did a little cookie decorating while we were there. I love this time of year!

Anderson celebrated his big day at Tia's house (Daycare) on Friday and had another party at our house on Saturday. He has bacome a real pro at cake eating! I was totally impressed with Chad last week. I had a crazy-busy Thursday and so Chad made Anderson's birthday cupcakes for daycare. What a lifesaver! We also managed to fit in Santa Pics on Sunday! Hattie was very excited to see him and let him know that she'd like a baby-doll bed! She was really impressed that he gave her a candy cane. We heard about it all the way home!

Thanksgiving Weekend

All three of my brothers came into town for the Thanksgiving holiday! We had a blast all hanging out, eating, and watching the kids play together. We managed to fit in Thanksgiving dinner,Christmas with Philip's family, family pictures, a trip to Build-A-Bear (I missed that one), and a combined first birthday party for Anderson and Cole. A little late for Cole and a little early for Anderson, but since we were all together it worked out well. Here are a bunch of pictures!
