Time's Flying By!

We are staying busy as we try and get ready for Anderson's big arrival day. I am scheduled to be induced next Thursday, December 6th. Of course he still could come sooner than that. In the meantime, we celebrated Thanksgiving lunch with my family and dinner with Chad's family. Lots of turkey and dressing was eaten by all. It also gave us some good photo ops for Hattie! We headed to San Antonio on Saturday to watch Tivy's playoff game at the Alamodome. David, Angie, and Hunter met us there, along with my parents. We sat right by the band, which kept Hattie dancing all the way through the 4th quarter!

Trinity School's Thanksgiving

Hattie had a Thanksgiving Feast at her school today. Chad, Poppy, and I all made the trip over for lunch. She was so excited to see us all there that she barely sat still! (not that that is really unusual for her)!!!!!! The Pre-K class put on a skit about the first Thanksgiving. The group picture turned out really dark, but if you look closely, you can see Hattie sitting with her teacher. She's actually in front of the lady with the white sweater and looking right at Chad. Hattie, with the help of her teacher, made our table decorations! So talented! After lunch, we went back to her classroom for dessert. Poppy provided great entertainment for Hattie and her friend, Tyler. I decided I'd better get these pictures up quick since these may be Hattie's last few days as an only child! I also had to include this picture of Hattie and Doyle. Most of us who have known Doyle would never have suspected he'd be so good with kids. He is by far Hattie's favorite thing in the house. This is how they watch Baby einstein almost every morning! Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Getting ready for Anderson!

Well, Anderson's room is almost complete. There's still a few items left to buy, and of course a baby to bring home!! Here's the pretty close to finished product! In Hattie news-we went for our first trip to the San Antonio Zoo. It was a big hit. She was totally fascinated by all the animals. Hattie was also really impressed with the monkeys (who isn't???) and the petting farm! It was a nice family outing...just in time because I'm not sure I would be up for so much walking even this coming weekend!
