We love animals!

We started off our weekend having friends over for dinner and playing. The high Friday was 82-so it was a great day to play outside. Saturday morning we went to the local livestock show to see the animals, then to feed the ducks at the river. After that, things went downhill. Hattie woke up from her nap not feeling well, and running fever. So, Monday will bring a DR.'s visit, which I'm pretty sure will confirm our Flu suspicions. Poor thing. We currently have her quarantined.

Hanging Out

We've been pretty low-key lately, which has been really nice. We've spent some time back at the zoo and playing with Camille and Carlton. I'm not sure we will ever make it the zoo without getting on the train again. This time, Anderson managed to kick his shoe off while we were moving! We had to drive back over there and I ran up the tracks to retrieve. I was so worried another train would come and wonder what I was doing running on the tracks in the woods by myself! I was successful, however! With this crazy weather we are just trying to keep everyone healthy! It's the heater and humidifier one night-then shorts and the AC the next day!

Feeding the birds. No, thanks. I'm more scared of those things than the bears!

It's getting harder and harder to get a picture of these two standing still!

Anderson's new favorite thing-books! It's about time-I was really getting worried about him!

Round 4!

It was bound to happen...

My brothers came in this past weekend to celebrate our last round of Christmas. We had a great time with them all. Our kids were taking a nap during most of the gift opening, but were really excited to wake up and find out what was going on!

Happy 2009!

New Year's Eve- we are so blessed with great friends that help to keep us sane!

For Christmas we got a family pass to the zoo. So, we spent New Year's Day enjoying our new membership. Anderson is finally at an age where he is excited about seeing the animals! When I told Hattie we were going to the zoo, she said,"Oh-I'm going to take my princess camera and take pictures of all the animals." So, she did. It was a little embarrassing since it says cheesy little sayings when you push the button like "You're as pretty as a princess!" They both Loved the petting zoo! We also took a ride on the train-which was a big hit for both! We are looking forward to many more trips in 2009!
