Anderson had a visit to the ER on Tuesday night. We went to Mamacita's with our friends, Chad and Rachel. The kids went to put money in the fountain and Anderson managed to fall backwards off a step and hit his head on the tile floor. As Chad Schmidt was carrying him back to the table, he had a seizure. Pretty scary stuff. A nurse saw the whole event and came over to tell us that he needed a CAT scan. So, we left Hattie with the Schmidts and headed to the hospital. A few hours later we got cleared to leave. He does not remember the event and was pretty dazed afterwards. He still has a few odd side effects, but seems back to his normal rambunctious self for the most part.
I took the day off a couple of Fridays ago to go with Anderson's class on their Pumpkin Patch field trip. It was great weather and we had a really nice day.
And...we have a new kitten named "Cookie Dough"

Awards Assembly
Hattie earned two awards at the six week's Awards Assembly this past Friday. She got to stand up when they called her name for Perfect Attendance and she also got a medal for making the "100 Club" by counting to 100. She was so excited to be getting a medal from Mr. Thompson (who, by the way, was a principal at the middle school when Chad and I were there!!)

Crazy Clean
Just in case you've ever wondered what it would look like to have EVERYTHING in your house dry cleaned....It's been a huge inconvenience, but we are certainly thankful that we did not lose anything and we LOVE State Farm!!!!! They even dry cleaned Hattie's dress up and the clothes we had put away that they had out grown!!!
