Christmas at Seaworld

After heading to San Antonio to do a little Christmas shopping, we went over to Sea World for their holiday event. They had a walk through lights display with snow machines. Hattie decided she was ready to try the roller coaster. She absolutely loved it. In fact when it was over she said, "Mommy, if I listen next time we are at Target can we come back and ride the roller coaster again?" Shamu had a special Christmas show with holiday singers. It was cold and dark, so some of the pictures are hard to see.

Anderson turns 2!

Anderson turned 2 last Sunday! Hard to believe. He has definitely transitioned from a baby to a toddler!
Anderson at a Glance:
Anderson is an extremely laid back, happy-go-lucky boy. He hates to get in trouble (for now anyways!). One of the worst things you can do to the child is tell him "no!" That is seriously all it takes to get him to stop a behavior! Quite a contrast to our oldest! He drinks at least 4 gallons of milk a week! Anderson loves to dance and sing! He is obsessed with letters! He can recognize all 26 letters and tell you the sounds they make! However, he still doesn't get all of his colors straight! He's come a long way on talking-about 85% of what he says is understandable. Not the case when he prays! We say he prays in tongues, because it really is like this whole other language! All I can get out of it is "God" and "food"! Hattie and Anderson are such great friends. I pray daily that their relationship stays close as they get older. Anderson had such a rough 1st 6 months, I would have never thought he's be such a happy toddler. He is a blessing to our family!

Whose birthday is it? He's a "typical" little brother-let's his big sis do all the work for him!

Hattie is really into the idea of a "sleepover" these days (I think she saw it on Max and Ruby). So she decided she and Anderson should have one after her tap class the other night. Pretty funny. She even slept on her floor that night!

Slinky

We brought home the newest member of our family today...Slinky. She is an 8 week old Labradoodle. Hattie is absolutely crazy about her. Anderson is not so sure. It was cold and rainy today. I'm sure he'll warm up to her once we all get out in the backyard and play!

We enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving break. We ate lots of great food over the holiday! Chad went hunting over the weekend in South Texas. Hattie, Anderson, and I packed up and headed out to my parents. Their good friends, Walter and Laura, were here visiting so it was really nice to get to spend time with them.
