Hattie started two new activities this week-Pre-K and soccer. She went to her first day of school on Monday when I had to be back at work. She has adjusted pretty well and loves it. Mornings have been a little more chaotic, but we are getting the hand of it. Having Hattie and Anderson at different places has been a little tricky with drop off and pick up. She's also playing soccer and had her first practice this week. She did pretty well and is excited about playing. Should be interesting!
We also got in a short visit David, Angie, and Hunter while they were in town.

Hattie's 4th Birthday!
Hard to believe that Hattie is 4! She is such a joy to Chad and I. We are constantly amazed at her independence, sense of humor, and ability to talk nonstop! She is very patient and thoughtful with Anderson. I'm sure that may change with age, but for the past 3 years they have been best friends! We were blessed to have lots of friends and family turn out to celebrate along with the birthday girl. My sister-in-law, Heidi, and her 3 girls from Nashville stayed for the whole week. So we were nonstop for several days. Lots of unforgettable moments!

Santa Fe
My mom and I made a quick trip up to Santa Fe to visit her friend Laura. The weather was great. It rained the whole time we were there and cooled the temperatures down into the 60s. We enjoyed walking around Spanish Market, eating, and shopping. We also took a walking tour, with 14 other people, of 4 restaurants through the Santa Fe Cooking School. While on the tour, we got to meet and learn from the executive chefs and sample some of their food. I did have to laugh when one of the chefs brought out some Wild Boar sausage from the Broken Arrow Ranch-small world!!!
