Vacation Bible School

We had a busy week with Vacation Bible School at our church. For the first time, Hattie and Anderson got to go around with groups and experience all of the centers. My pictures are only from the craft room, since that's where I spend my time. They had a great time and were exhausted by the end. We had a VBS performance at church on Wednesday night, Hattie did great and remembered all her motions. Anderson-not so much. He suddenly became shy and wouldn't even stand anywhere close to the group until the last song. Not sure what got into him-he's usually such a ham! On a related note-we had a hot dog dinner following the VBS presentation. Anderson is really close to the boys in our small group. These are some serious boys-boys that love to wrestle. Anytime. Anywhere-restaurants, houses, etc. we are constantly breaking up the roughhousing. While Hattie and I went to get cookies they started up with their normal play. When I came back Anderson was upset because Mr.Greg (our preacher) told him "Boys-you stop that right now!" For two days now Anderson has been bringing it up! He did not like getting in trouble. Maybe Greg should make house calls! Thank you, Greg, it takes a village!

Galveston

We met my parents, and my brother Philip's family down at Galveston last Wednesday. My other two brothers and their families joined us on Friday. Even though Chad has a broken foot and spent most of the time on the sofa-the rest of us had a great time hanging out and staying busy. Great cousin memories were made!
