Happy Halloween!

Several weeks ago I came home with two matching M&M costumes. We tried them on and my kids refused to wear them. So, Chad and I took them to Wal-Mart and let them pick out their own costumes. Hattie chose the fairy and Anderson picked out a NASCAR driver suite. Fine. Fast forward to Saturday night when we are getting dressed to go to Charli's Halloween party. Anderson refuses to wear any of them. I'm at my wits end and try to think through the dress up options-princess, cheerleader, soccer player-winner! So, after all of that he chooses to wear Hattie's soccer uniform (dirty on Saturday!) to the party and our church's Trunk or Treat!

Hattie played her last Fall soccer game on Saturday. She was the lead scorer with 3 goals! After the game, the team went to Fudrucker's to celebrate and receive their medals. Soccer has been a great experience, but we are looking forward to having our weekends back.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

I took the day off to join Hattie's class on their 2nd field trip. We headed over to Medina to the pumpkin patch. There were tons of activities to entertain the kids- maze, hay ride, bulid your own scarecrow, tepee, petting zoo, pumpkin painting, and more. I also included a few pictures of the progress being made on our house.

Field Trip

Hattie has been so excited about her first field trip. Well, the day finally came where they all loaded up on the bus (her favorite part) and headed to H-E-B to check out what all goes on in a grocery store. Chad met them over there and snapped a few pictures of all the chaos! I teach 3rd grade for a reason. I get anxiety just looking at the pictures! God bless the Pre-K teachers! I think they were really grateful Chad was there! 17 kids, 2 teachers, and 2 dads! Judging from these pictures I should have a little more appreciation for the phrase :my clip stayed on green today!!!!"

My personal favorite! Oh my!
