Well, today was my first Mother's Day with a baby I could actually hold! Hard to believe that this time next year, we'll have two babies to hold! We ended up going to Mamacita's after church(big surprise!) and then having my family over to open gifts. I sure was sad that Mamaw couldn't join us. We had Chad's family over Sunday evening for a BBQ. Hattie showed off for her cousin, John, in the pool. She was equally impressed by his talents of playing the ukulele and letting slugs hang all over him! It was a perfect day!
I know it has been awhile since I updated, but things have been crazy! As most of you know, my grandmother was put into the hospital with what seemed to be a minor stomach infection. Three weeks later, she's still not home. She has been moved from the hospital to a nursing home for a couple of weeks of Rehab. We have spent a lot of time visiting with her and trying to keep her spirits up. The good news is after 9 months, Hattie finally got to meet her cousins-Jason and Jamie-along with Jason's fiance, Sylivia!
