ahrenshappenings: Anderson is 1 month old!!

Hard to believe that Anderson is already one month old. He is such a sweet addition to our family-I can barely remember what it was like before he was born. He is so easy going and happy. Luckily for us, he's a pretty good sleeper also! That must be a hereditary gene! I can definately say that it has taken us this whole first month to adjust to two small children. We have really come a long way, though. Last week, my mom and I ventured to La Cantera in SA with Hattie and Anderson, Chad and I have taken them for walks in the double stroller, and we've been to church for the first time. I did get my nerve up to go to the grocery store alone, but it didn't go as planned. I got Hattie in the cart at HEB only to realize that the carseat doesn't fit in their baskets. By the time we loaded back in to the car and got to Wal-Mart..it was PACKED!!! So, I bailed and left them both with Chad that evening to shop alone!!! Hattie still loves watching everything Anderson does. She does retreat to her room to read a little more often, though. She picks up on everything we are saying these days. She loads her baby up in Anderson's carseat and yells, "Alright." She also likes to say "Oh-no" anytime he cries. Which stem from my phrases, "Oh no, Anderson crying!!" and "Alright, let's go get in the car." She finally has enough hair to pull up into what Chad calls her "rooster tail" Hey-when it takes you this long to grow hair-you're proud of anything!
