Oh, Anderson! He is such a fun-loving and passionate child. I still haven't figured out if his personality traits are due to being a boy or being the 2nd child. He is so much like Chad. He has a great sense of humor, gets over his problems easily,is very enthusiatic, and loves to cuddle. He has the best "speaking" manners. On the other hand, he is the MESSIEST child I've ever met and really seems to enjoy it that way. He's always been fascinated by letters and does a great job sounding out and spelling words. He is so complementary to those around him. There are however some things that make me question whether or not he belongs to us: the blonde hair and blue eyes and his ability to go WITHOUT sleep-not Ahrens's traits! He loves scooby doo, can play board games forever, and can't wait to lose his first tooth. He adores his big sister and we're willing to ride that train for as long as possible! Can't believe he's already 4!
I feel the need to explain this cake! I made and froze his cakes ahead of time with the hope of just icing them and placing this edible Scooby Doo topper on top. Well, I overbooked myself on the Friday before his party. I ended up icing the cakes around 9:00> I ran out of blue icing, and there was no way to fix it. So, I headed off to H-E-B to buy more cake mixes. Came home and realized we were out of eggs!! AAAAHHHH! So, Chad went back to H-E-B around 10:30 to buy an already made cake. When Anderson woke up he wanted to see his cake. He said, "Hey, I only wanted blue and orange icing, not white!" Seriously!!! It all tasted great and the topper fit well on the store bought one. Still, a frustrating situation.
On his real day!
