Beach to Bay Relay Marathon

Months ago, Chad and I committed to being on a six person relay team to run in the Beach to Bay relay marathon in Corpus. We thought back then that our lives would be back to normal and we'd easily be able to train. Well, the training didn't quite go as planned. However, it seemed pushing the jogging stroller uphill the few times we did was enough to prepare us for the race. We were both able to run our legs without passing out. After the race, we took it easy and enjoyed a kid-free weekend with our friends! Between Compatibility, Apples to Apples, and Imagineiff-we really got to know a lot about each other. It was a great weekend!

The whole crew before dinner. We went to a great place where we actually had to wait for our food to be cooked! Can you imagine?? Funny thing-there was a bachelor party at the house across the way. We asked one of the guys to come over and take our picture. I asked him if he was very good at picture taking...he responded, "Well, I'm married, does that count?" Sure, why not?
