The Great Outdoors

Hattie and Anderson enjoying the pool

We have really been spending a lot of time outside these past few weeks. Some of it alone-some with friends. Hattie and Anderson both love being outside and for that I am grateful. Hattie's school also had an end of the year performance. Hattie's class performed as clown fish. Despite weeks of practicing-Hattie did nothing-absolutely NOTHING! In fact, she even laid down on the stage at one point!!! Hilarious! We have busy week coming up...Hattie's last day of school is Tuesday and they're having a Water Day celebration, my friend, Rachel, is having her baby girl on Wednesday-so we will be having Carlton over Tuesday for a sleepover! Then our nephew, Hunter, has a birthday party this weekend! Fun times ahead. Anderson's half birthday is also coming up! I can hardly believe he's about to be 6 months. He is growing so much. He has really turned into a ham. The kid loves attention! Luckily, Hattie is willing to spend most of her day giving him all the attention he wants-and some he doesn't! We got him his own swing for the patio last week. He loves it and Hattie really enjoys having him swing next to her! They are two very different personalities and both so much fun!!!

I can't wait until she's a little older and we can just put a tent outside for her to sleep in when she's finished playing!

I have a feeling this is a glimpse into the future!

Hattie, Carlton, and Tyler-not interested in my picture taking

Clearly we need some pointers on how to get our kids to pose for pictures. Anybody, anybody??? Classic

Just a swingin'

"Show time"-oh, I thought you said "Nap time"

Not a fan of large crowds

The only one sitting down on the job

Now here's a "dad idea"- move the slide over to the pool! Hattie and Carlton seemed to think it was ingenious!

Look at that smile!!!! He's going to be able to talk his way into anything!
